5/12 The Concert Last Night

Today I will show images from last night, a little after 8 till about 10:30

But I will start with what is called a "keeper".

This one is of a very good photographer who studied in London but makes a living selling sandals. He lives close to Antonious and Maria.

I just like the image. What else to say.

--But now to the Chronology.--

A grab shot of how families sit on their door steps and talk.

(We are walking to the concert Elena will be playing in. It will be in a Catholic church on a famous square.)

Arianna and Antonioius walking past a restaurant in the street. On the left is the owner and in the very upper right corner you see the last of the day's sun on the building.

The light is becoming a mixture of artificial and daylight.

The color says it.

I am a sucker for the light. I am told this cafe is the "gossip" cafe of the area.

Again, just light

We are arriving at the church.

While waiting to go into the concert, the street lights have come on. It is quarter to nine - the concert is at nine.

Before the concert begins - Elena has her bow up. The tip is just below the foot of the cross. 

Ariana is waiting for the concert.

Antonious thinks I am funny running around making so many pictures.

There was a fire call and the owner is explaining. LOOK at that helmet.

On the right is the window I began with. You can see the sandals outside the shop. Up the hill is the restaurant, in the street, you saw on the way to the concert.

It is after 10:30 and the owner is closing for the night.

So home, and up to supper. And talk. And bed.
