While eating lunch. You are looking at Albania.
100 yards behind my back is Greece. In the far distance, across the strait, is Corfu with a transmission tower on a mountain. In the foreground is a fish farm.
Antonious is concerned that you know I got to go sailing.
And that I sailed under the Italian flag.
Antonious said that sailing was more than enjoyment, that it was necessary.
I replied, necessary for the soul, and he said, quite emphatically, yes.
The clouds are monumental
Getting off the boat can be hilarious.
On the way home. Notice the difference in architectural style in the two buildings on the left. Between them is a narrow street that leads to "home".
An older lady, going shopping in that street as I am going home.
In the center is the ladder leading to Antonious and Maria's loft. This room is the third floor dining room. The kitchen, left center has it's light on. My room is just to the right. Left of the kitchen are the stairs to the second floor. That is where the two girls bedrooms and the bathroom are. To the left you can see my laptop and coffee with a bookcase. On the right is the music bookcase.
(The first floor has the main stairs up to the rest of the house and is a study -storage area with a planned darkroom. Check back to an earlier posting to see Arianna and Antonius coming up those stairs.)
I am enjoying making images - what ever comes along.
Kitchen, bedroom, music bookcase, couch - loft - dining room table
You can see that Greece is covered by clouds as I write. Congrats East Coast, you are sunny.
A student is coming for a personal critique. Time to get ready.

What a wonderful house! It feels like a boat. Thank you so much for the comprehensive look. And the sailing makes me homesick for all the years when we were able to do that.
